RESCAR is rapidly growing and searching for switching and track personnel to fill open positions in our Deer Park Service Center. Previous experience required. What You'll Do: Construct and maintain the railroad track infrastructure to insure safe and efficient service to our customers Inspect, unload, load, distribute, pick-up, install cross ties, switch ties, other track material and ballast. Inspect, patrol, construct, install, retire, remove, surface, gauge, line, and shift track. Inspect, protect, flag, construct, install, maintain, and repair road crossings. Inspect, unload, distribute, load, pick-up, install, grind, and transpose rail. Inspect, dismantle, remove, maintain, repair and paint station facilities. What You'll Need: 1-3 years working in the rail industry preferred Valid driver's license Updated background check, drug test and physical The ability to pass basic track rules test Continuous mental and visual attention is required to perform duties (such as working around heavy and moving equipment), involving repetitive or diversified work requiring constant alertness or activity, required The desire to work hard for potential to grow with a great company!
