Nurse Practitioner - Floresville, TX 78114 Compensation: $55- $60 per hour Hours/Shifts: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Central Overview: Nexus HR is looking for a Nurse Practitioner for a reputable medical center in Wilson County, Texas. Client-highlighted qualifications - Has in-depth clinical expertise in a defined area of nursing practice (eg., pediatrics, oncology, adult medicine). About the Job Under the general supervision of the Physician, delivers acute and basic health care to clients, and fulfills such duties as assessment, planning, teaching, and counseling. Duties and Responsibilities: Obtain health and development history and conduct physical assessments using appropriate tools.Assess the health status of the client by discriminating between normal and abnormal physical/emotional findings.Order appropriate screening and/or routine diagnostic tests.Provide treatment of minor illnesses and accidents either in consultation with the physician or according to established protocol.Participate in and continue health care plans involving client, family, or other community agencies and resources.Evaluate data from assessment for client needs for family planning, substance abuse, and/or other health-related requests.Talk to patients and family members, call and confer with consultants, type in daily notes and participate in clinical research protocols related to patient care.Performs all other duties as assigned Qualifications :Two years of experience as a Nurse PractitionerLicensed Nurse Practitioner in TexasExperience in critical care, emergency department care, and/or patient clinicAble to work on-site in St. Floresville, TX
